Students will embark on a multi-dimensional learning adventure marked with imagination and ingenuity as they build, design, and paint their own set, props, and characters, develop scripts, and use stop-motion photography and video to tell a unique story. Learning Outcomes
In this course we will learn the HISTORY of clay animation, the SCIENCE of stop motion photography, the process of script WRITING, the ART of sculpting, the elements of DESIGN, and the CRAFT of building a set complete with props and characters. This is a hands-on course and participants will be encouraged to try a variety of mediums as they work towards the final project —> a claymation video!
